Area Report:	Hi Everyone All good things must come to an end,thats what happened last nite at midnite as all the trails in Vilas County closed!!!! Dick PS:If you rec'd the latest edition of WSN please read the letter to the editor on page 10 from the idiot from Marathion,WI. But as always PLEASE be carefull on the trails just remember you are not the only one out there!!!! When I report snow cover that is what is on the ground not on the trails where it is from 3-5 inches. Please stay on ALL area trails,as I have seen while grooming there are many places where riders just go where they please.We work very hard to secure the land to put our trails thru and it's alot easier to lose that right!!!Also who knows what is under that snow maybe a rock maybe a stump or whatever,either one them don't move!!! I still have some March openings left in my rental for March.(See below) *********************************** I also have added satellite TV and a DVD player in my rental. Phelps is located in northeastern Vilas county,about 15 miles N.E.of Eagle River.in the heart of the Nicolet National Forest. We are away from the hustle and bustle of the mainstream, but not that far.

Corridor trail #6 passes within a block of town. Our trails are said to be the best around by both the locals and our many vistors. These trails will lead you to Eagle River, Conover, Land O' Lake and the U.P. and Forest county to the east. Our nearly 40 miles of trails meander thru both national and private lands. These trails are groomed with a Sur-Trac by Snow Track.

We have many fine eating establishments (and beverages too) located on our trail system. There are also many motels and resorts to stay at while you are in our area.
