The Phillips area trails are in excellent condition. We received a little more snow the past week. The trails were well used over the weeknd. the groomers were out over the weekend trying to keep the trails in good shape for all to enjoy. They continue on their regular scheduled runs. Continue to use caution on the lakes as there are still some VERY ROUGH spots due to slush that has frozen. Watch for the "logging ahead" signs, there is a lot of logging this year. Some trails may have changed since last season. Stay on the marked trails. Try to support the local snowmobile clubs by attending their events. Remember, when you meet the groomer on the trail, STOP, the groomer will stop and then you can proceed around the groomer. All trail maintenance, grooming and machine maintenance is done by volunteers. If you know a volunteer, remember to thank them. NEED A PLACE TO STAY SO THAT YOU CAN ENJOY OUR TRAILS? Check our website at www.phillipswisconsin.net to find a place to stay, eat, shop and have a good time. See you on the trails! JS |

Trail 80 north of Lugerville is now open. A new trail connecting Trail #102 at Three Mile Corner to Catawba area Trail #80 a couple miles north of trail #181/16 has about a 1 mile rough section due to lack of snow. Please slow down and use caution whenever you see signs on the trail that say "Logging Ahead" or "Trucks Hauling".

ATV use is allowed on the CNNF Flambeau Trail System and the Georgetown Trail thru March 14.
