Opening day on Fri. Dec. 20th was about as good as it gets for the opener!! The warmer temps and heavy traffic didn’t help us keep those excellent conditions. I haven’t noticed too many brown spots on the trails, although these next few days will be above average temps in the mid to high 30’s. I did see a couple partial trail closings online in surrounding areas due to poor swamp areas causing dangerous riding conditions. There is some hope for later this week for a chance of some snow and cooler temps. To the best of my knowledge the lakes remain unmarked and should not be rode on. I will submit an updated report later this week and hopefully have some optimistic news. Have a Merry Christmas!!
