Area Report:

A triumphant return to the trails yesterday!! And the news isn’t bad at all. I rode from Sayner, throughout St. Germain, then through Eagle River and back. Trails were in fine condition except for the usual corners and high traffic areas. Big St. Germain and Little St. Germain lakes are marked and fairly smooth. Again, STAY Close to the Barrels!!! The groomers are doing an amazing job at keeping up with heavy volume of riders. The forecast looks promising with lower temps and at least some snow predicted to fall. I feel compelled to state the following- I see a lot of tracks that are off marked trails. Keep riding like this and we will all be left to riding road trails!!! It’s no secret private land owners are not happy with this blatant disregard for their property, which they can close off whenever they’ve had enough from disrespectful riders!! Stay safe, stay on the trail, and be courteous to other riders and land owners!!!
