Area Report:

Greetings riders!!

Unfortunately my hand injury still has me off the trails, which has been beyond depressing!! But, I can report on some positive news- The west bay of Little St. Germain Lake has been marked!! All the people I’ve talked to still report good riding, except in the usual problem areas. Weather forcasts are looking better. We are in for a little roller coaster weather pattern this week, but that does include some below zero nights, starting with tonight!! There is a chance for a wintery mix to fall later this week, hopefully that will end up being just snow!! I’m hoping to be out by the weekend, at which point I’ll update the conditions. Please ride safe and STAY OFF unmarked lakes!! I’m sure by now you’ve heard of the senseless tragedy that happened in Tomahawk a coupled days ago. We’ll see ya out there soon!!

Snowmobile Information:

If you haven’t marked your calendars yet, The Hiller Radar Runs are coming up on Fri. Jan. 31 through Feb. 1st on Little St. Germain!! Unfortunately, we lost a true Northwoods icon last summer with Mark Hiller last summer. The radar runs have been renamed to his honor!! Hope to see you all there!! Should be EPIC!!
