As of 6:54 am this morning, freezing rain/drizzle overnight resulting in 0.10 inch of ice everywhere. Foggy now which will continue through the day into tomorrow morning. Sleet in the PM tomorrow. Sunday sleet turning to SNOW. Monday forecast for 1 inch+ SNOW. Schiff on Tuesday. Back into the freezer for temps starting Tuesday, 1/30. Beginning Saturday 1/3 through Wednesday 1/7 SNOW off & on. PLEASE DO A SNOW DANCE!
Groomer Tracking System app shows no panning or grooming.
While the trail are open they are in need of COLD & SNOW.
Vilas County & the Vilas County Snowmobile Alliance voted to use donated safety funds for beacon lighting. It will be installed at the entrance/exit of lakes. They will flash red, green & white. This should help riders find the exit off the lake. Right click on the announcement to enlarge.
