Trail Conditions: Good
Snow Cover: 8-12”
Date of Report: February 1, 2026
Area Report:
We saw a lot of snowmobile traffic Friday and Saturday. With the sun out and temps rising to 20 degrees, the trails took a beating. There was a lot of moguls and blown out corners. We did our best to flatten them back out.
There is some snow in the forecast for Sunday into Monday. We could use some fresh snow to freshen everything up. Road crossings are starting to get that brown snirty color to them. Most road routes are still snow covered which helps.
I’ll be back out Sunday night to hit the trails and whatever I didn’t get on Saturday night.
I will cover groomer etiquette again because Saturday night I had a sled try to pass the drag before I was ready for him to do so. He didn’t have enough room and drag hit his sled. Any groomer will move over as far as they can, and then dim/flash their lights that he is ready for you to pass. Or when you see the groomer coming at you, look for a safe spot to get off the trail. There was another group that had plenty of room to get up off the trail so I could slowly pass them. Most sledders had good etiquette last night, but all it took was one group of younger riders that didn’t know what to do.
Be safe out there, Ride Right!
