Your Online Trail and Travel Guide for Snowmobiling the U.S. & Canada

Trail Report – : Boulder Junction, Wisconsin – March 5, 2026

Reporter:boulderwi
Trail Conditions: Poor
Snow Cover: 4-6 inches
Date of Report: March 5, 2026
Area Report:

At 8:00 a.m., it’s 27 degrees out with mostly cloudy skies and warming up to 47 degrees today.
We are expecting rain tomorrow and near 60 degrees on Sunday. We do have a cool down
starting next Wednesday.
Due to the weather, we last groomed 8E on Tuesday am and have suspended further grooming
until the weather improves. Trails are still open, but our town road routes are mostly bare,
corners are down to ice and dirt, and open areas may have puddles. The woods trails still hold
snow, but generally it will be tough getting around.
We are holding our annual end of the season Cabin Fever Party fundraiser this Saturday, March
7 th from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Gooch’s. Hope to see you there!
Look for an updated trail report if the weather changes or we receive a public service
announcement from Vilas County in regards to trail closings.
