Yep SNOW yesterday morning not much about 1/2 inch. Light SNOW again this afternoon. Looks to be about another 1/2 inch. SNOW Tuesday and off & on all week. Another pop up into the 30’s Monday & Tuesday but single digit or low teens at night. From there on teens of low 20’s during the day & cold at night. SNOW off on through this week.
GTS Tracking shows groomers out in full force last night. 3 trail sections were NOT groomed:
Trail 70 that goes west to St. Germain that runs along Hwy 70W
Trail 7 aka the Paintball Field that heads west to Sugar Camp
Trail 13S that head south to Sugar Camp along Hwy 17
Trail 1 that runs to the Eagle Lake Boat launch coming from the north
Couple of notices:
Reminder that Trail 13S does not run all the way to Three Lakes as a portion was closed. Club is working on a re route.
Trail 10/13 the section call the Wisconsin River Bridge has been TEMPORARILY CLOSED. Heavy slush at the approaches & water on top of the ice. This begins at Trail 3N west to Trail 13 at Deep Lake Rd. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO RIDE THROUGH THERE. THE AREA IS GATED OFF.
Vintage Derby Weekend so expect more traffic as you ride.
Eagle Lake was marked by businesses. Safety lights at entrance & exit from/to the lake trail have been installed.
Catfish Lake is NOT MARKED. Uncertain it will open as there are no businesses open on the lake this winter.
