Area Report:

Been out riding the past 3 days and the trails are getting thin but if you hit the right trails they are holding up well. Fortunately the best trails I have been on are the Frosty Club trails in Land O Lakes! Rode Phelps, Conover, Watersmeet, Iron River, MI, Boulder Junction, Winchester, Manitowish Waters, Presque Isle, etc… and all are definitely rideable.  Great job groomers. There is supposed to be snow in the near future and then another cold shot so …..knock on wood we should be A-OK in Land O Lakes

We rode out across the Turtle Flambeau Flowage on Monday – from Camp 1 we rode up trail 14 to Bear Chasers, then 13 back to the Yukon and 17 back to Mercer and 8 back to MW.
8, the Flowage, 14 and 13 were good to very good.
17 a little thin in spots coming through Mercer, but very rideable.
Looks like some snow coming our way.  Stay tuned and well keep you posted.

We could use your help gathering raffle prizes for the Winterfest Rendezvous.  Drop off at the Pea Patch or message us and we’ll pick up.  Thank you in advance for your help.

Trail Conditions: Fair

Snow Cover: 7-9 Inches

Date of Report: January 10, 2018

Area Report:

Trail report for January 10, 2018, Fair condition. The last couple of days with 30-degree weather did not help our trails any. The good news is that we are expecting some snow for the next couple of days and then some more cold weather in single digits. This will certainly freshen up the trails and increase our base. We will have the groomers out before and through the weekend. Use caution in the corners. They can be bare and icy. The active logging operations have very little snow. Always watch out for other snowmobilers on the trail.  Remember to be safe, ride right, and enjoy the ride.

Area Report:

Conditions: Fair to Good

Trails are still very thin in the area as most of the Mercer trail system hasn’t seen any significant snow since before Christmas time. The really cold temperatures have frozen up the entire stems and the lakes. The Flowage is now completely marked and in great condition. Our groomers continue to get out every night to knock down the bumps on the trail and do what they can with the low amount of snow. With the warm-up today, and the amount of snow expected tomorrow, we should be having some good riding conditions these next couple of days.

Area Report:

We cant seem to catch a break here in SE WI, similar to the rest of the state.   We had good cold temps for a couple weeks to freeze everything up but just couldn’t get the snow.   We had about 3″ on the ground but all of that is gone now with temps in 40s.  Cold air returns Friday, let’s hope with that comes some snow as well.  Will report back when we have something to report.
