Area Report:
Zone A of the State-funded snowmobile trail system in Langlade County opened at 5:00 pm on Friday, January 11, 2019, with restrictions.  Corridor 9 South of Hwy 64 at Polar will remain closed at this time due to inadequate snow cover.  Additionally, the trail between intersections 54C and 53A will be closed due to frequent truck traffic from logging operations.  Download a Langlade County Snowmobile Map by clicking here.
 
Trail conditions in the wooded northern and eastern parts of the county will be in good condition, with the exception of low lying swamps being rough.  Trails in open fields may also be lacking in snow cover; please use extreme caution in these areas. 
 
These trails are open to ATV’s after January 21, 2019, and when the temperature is less than 28 degrees.  UTV’s are not allowed on the snowmobile trails.
