Trail Report: Bergland, Michigan – February 25, 2017

Trail Conditions: Fair
Snow Cover: 14+ new inches of snow
Date of Report: February 25, 2017
Area Report:

Just when we thought we might be dusted for the snowmobile season – we get his with 14+ inches of snow in the last 24 hours.   Forecast is for cold and snow for the next several days and John Dee has forecasted 8-12+” between Feb 28-March 5th.    We do have a few riders in but not received any reports as yet.   Couple guys trailered up to Copper Country and said trails are nice with the exception of getting in and out of Calumet.   Twin Lakes is grooming and if the cold temps continue – Lake Gogebic Area Groomers will be back out in a couple of days.   We will still have wet spots to deal with.   We will update the beginning of next week when we get some weekend reports.   Looks like next week may be good to ride.

This is a few of the lake from our web cam at www.walleyelodge.com – so nice to see that white stuff!
