January 1, 2018 – Boulder Junction area snowmobile trails are in fair condition.

Happy New Year everyone! I hope everyone had a safe and happy holiday. The Boulder trail system had a lot of traffic over the holiday weekend. The trails really got beat. With the subzero temps the snow is not melting but we very well need some new snow to spruce up our trails. A little over a couple of inches would help greatly. The corners are getting bare and some spots are getting icy. Use caution in the active logging operations. They have very little snow. Watch out for groomers they can be out at any time. Take all directions from the groomer operator. Give him a break, slow down, he is out there to help you have a better ride. Remember to be safe, ride right, and enjoy the ride.
