From our Namakagon Trail Groomers:
Our trail system currently has an 8 to 12″ base and trail conditions are very good at this time.
All NTG trails have been groomed since Sunday and groomers will be out with this new snowfall!
We have gotten about 5″ of snow today with more on the way over the weekend; another 3-5″ is expected Saturday into Sunday. Temps will be in the upper 20s to low 30s through Sunday and will be dropping next week.
This weekend is the American Birkebeiner ski race – we are expecting a high volume of automobile traffic and trail usage in general, please use caution if riding in the Cable-Hayward areas.
Please remember that our groomers have the right-of-way and they can be out day or night grooming our trails to be the best they can be!
Upcoming snowmobile events:
March 1-2,2019
Weenie Roast Weekend – Lakewoods Resort, Namakagon
Snow Outlaws World Finals – Staudemeyer’s Four Seasons Resort, Namakagon
We will keep you posted with all things trail related! Be sure to grab one of our new 2019 Cable Area Motor Head Maps here in the Chamber, or at one of our local businesses!
