Area Report:

Braaaaap!

The Cable Area received a nice little surprise overnight… 6-8” of lake effect snow! Groomers were out yesterday hitting areas that needed it after weekend riding, and they plan to have the entire system groomed again by this weekend.

Trail bases are reported to be between 5-7” area-wide and trails are in good to very good condition.

Temperatures will be rising to mid-20-30s this week with more snow in the forecast for Sunday night into Monday. The Cable Area could see an additional 4-8” of snow with this system!

We have been informed the area lakes have high snow drifts if you venture off the stick trail. Please use caution and ride safely if you stray from the marked areas.

There is a detour on trail 90 between Old Grade and Federal Rd. due to logging. Please follow the signs.

We also have a trail closure at Trail 70 and Trail 73 due to trespass issues. Trail 70 East is closed at Randysek Rd. To get in and out of the downtown Cable area, please use Randysek Road from south of town to Spruce Street (cross Hwy M and go 1 block north), head West on Spruce to access the alleyway between Rondeau’s and Triple G; Hwy M is open from the alleyway to Rocky’s. This is a new reroute and will not be on your maps.
