Chippewa County Snowmobile Trails are opening Friday January 2nd, 2026 at 8 AM. All trails will open Jan 2 with two exceptions: Corridor Trail 27 will remain closed between Intersections 45 & 65 (Northwest of the Huron Warming House) Also the trail stub off Trail K from Intersection 89 to the Bateman Express Mart Gas Station is closed. (See maps below)
Please ride with caution as we have early season conditions. There are low hanging branches as well as rough fields. Please be aware that maintenance workers may be out working on the trails. (Updated December 31st, 2025)
