December 17, 2019 – 6:06am – 13 degrees

SNOWMOBILE TRAILS IN EAGLE RIVER
& ALL OF VILAS COUNTY ARE NOT OPEN.
Set to open at 8am Friday, December 20!!!!

13 degrees this morning on the way to 19 for a high today. The well over 2 feet off trail & over a 1 foot on trail SNOW is not going anywhere.  Teens or single digits for highs during the day & below zero of nearly below zero until Thursday. Cloudy to partly cloudy.

Sno-Eagles Eagle River trails were inspected by Park & Rec department last Friday. The Parks & Rec Administrator & his assistant both went out to inspect splitting the trails up to speed up inspections.  Several club members road along for safety & to see first hand any needed corrections.  Several other clubs remain to be inspected.  Moving to the opening date of December 20th!

In the meantime groomers are out panning & grooming the trails to prepare for the opener.  Check out Sno-Eagles Facebook page for a grooming video.
