SNOWMOBILE TRAILS IN EAGLE RIVER
& ALL OF VILAS COUNTY ARE NOT OPEN.
Set to open at 8am Friday, December 20!!!!

The last club will be inspected today by the Vilas County Parks & Rec Department.  Moving to the opening date of December 20th!  Did I say that’s tomorrow, FRIDAY at 8am!!!

Temps have come up from the cold of the last 3 days.  Will be in the 30’s with 20’s at night for the next week.  Next SNOW as of today is next Wednesday.

All clubs have been out panning & grooming each night.  Trails look great!

Sno-Eagles trail boss posts videos of grooming on Sno-Eagles facebook page.  Check ’em out.  Click the link at the end of the post to take you to Sno-Eagles facebook page.

A ton of very hard work was put in by Sno-Eagles volunteers and volunteers of the other 10 clubs getting the trails ready this year.  Ton of SNOW.  Trees & limbs all over the trails.  Wet mushy area.  Water in the swamps.  Lots of packing to freeze ’em up.

Last words this morning. Lake trails in Eagle River will not open on Friday. Check with other clubs to learn about their lakes.

UPDATE: The Oneida County Snowmobile Trail System WILL OPEN on Friday at 8am.  With the exception of Hodag Sno-Trails Corridor 12 from TIN 247(intersection Trl 12 & 47) through TIN 842(Hwy 47) & Three Lakes Alt 13 closed from TIN 122(Rice Lk Rd) through TIN 022(intersection north of Burnham Lk)

Be Patient.  Got your sled all set? Keep THINKING COLD!
See ya on the trails December 20th!!!
