Early Season Riding with FAIR & some POOR
December 29, 2018 10:37am – 10 degrees- Cloudy
Holy moly! It’s finally here! The trails open!!
Groomers have been out & nearly all trails in Sno-Eagles Country have been panned. Thick ice base in some areas. Thin ice base in other areas. Most are SNOW covered but remember SNOW on top of ice makes for slippery riding. Add the Lake Effect SNOW that fell yesterday & best to slow down. The SNOW base is best in the woods under cover with 4-5 inches of SNOW average. Right through town thinner.
EAGLE LAKE IS MARKED & OPEN. ORANGE BARRELS WERE AT THE LANDING AT BRAYWOOD SO CATFISH SHOULD BE OPEN SHORTLY. Stay by the orange reflective barrels to be safe.
See ya on the trails!
