Early Season Riding with FAIR & some POOR
December 30, 2018 10:15am – 17 degrees- Cloudy
Lots of traffic yesterday for the first day of season.
As reported there is either a thick ice base or thin ice base throughout the trails Much thinner in town & in open areas. Most out of town & in woods are SNOW covered. Ice under that SNOW makes for slippery riding. No SNOW over night. Still 4-5 inches of SNOW in the woods but a lot of traffic so leaves are working their way through.
EAGLE LAKE TRAIL IS MARKED & OPEN. THE BARRELS WERE SITTING AT THE LANDING AT BRAYWOOD ON CATFISH LAKE SO SHOULD BE OPEN SHORTLY BUT CURRENTLY IS NOT OPEN. Stay by the reflective orange barrels.
Need more SNOW so DO THE SNOW DANCE. Cold has arrived!
See ya on the trails!
