12/31/2025 – 8:25am – 15 degrees – High 17

EAGLE RIVER TRAILS
Good to Very Good 
 Frozen Icy Base 
Plenty of SNOW

Sno-Eagles trails should be cleared of trees & branches.  If you do come across any issues pleased call Dan at 262.951.6519  All in all trails are GOOD TO VERY GOOD.

Trails groomed last night:

                    Trail 10E to include:
                    Trail 9mile connect to Three Lakes
                    Trail 1N – Chanticleer Trl & Trail 1N from Trail 3 to Eagle Lake (not marked)
                    Trail 1S – GrampGraham Trl
                    Trail 10/13N to Conover Sno-Buddies connect
                    Trail 10W/13N aka Wisconsin River Trail – plenty of SNOW – Icy approaches
                    Trail 10W to Sayner/Star Lake Barnstormer connect-include Club Trail to Hwy G
                     
There still is drifting in the open areas everywhere.  Swamps are tight with some rough chop but minimal.

Weather for the next 5 days day time highs in teens & night time lows in single digits or below. SNOW Saturday & Sunday. No totals yet. Monday the 5th starts a 2 day pop up to 30’s with some SNOW on Sunday. After that periods of SNOW Friday, 1/9 through Sunday, 1/11. No totals.

Vilas County & the Vilas County Snowmobile Alliance voted to use donated safety funds for beacon lighting.  It will be installed at the entrance/exit of lakes.  They will flash red, green & white.  This should help riders find the exit off the lake.  Clubs/businessed are installing. 

New spur off the Trig’s trail.  It takes you Chubby’s Family Restaurant.   Here is the location. Right click photo to enlarge.

Ton of traffic on the trails for the holidays.  Many new riders so stay on your side, especially in the corners & slow down!

Vilas County Map It Trail App GPS style app of all trails in Vilas Cty.  Plus includes the brown 3 digit emergency numbering system. If an emergency happens call 911 & give them that number.  Find you quicker.
