February 15, 2020 – 5:40 – 10 degree – Cloudy

SNOWMOBILE TRAILS IN EAGLE RIVER
Good – Some ice under looser SNOW

From 20+ below yesterday morning to 10 above today. High today 28 with a low of 6 tonight.  Cloudy.  There is a small chance of SNOW late morning today. Sunday high of 19 & low of 1. Chance of SNOW Monday. About 1 inch is in the forecast.  START DOIN’ THE SNOW DANCE.  Plenty of SNOW on the trails but fresh SNOW would be great.

Groomer Tracking Systems (GTS Trails) reports shows almost all trails were groomed in the last 24 hours.  Here are the short sections not groomed:

  • Wisconsin River trail section of 10W/13N – No reports of surface slush
  • City trail from Trig’s Shell to Bloom Rd
  • Chanticleer Inn trail (trail 1) off 10E that leads to Eagle Lake
  • GranpaGrahm trail (trail 1) off 10E that leads to the road trail to Eagle Waters Resort

Catfish & Eagle Lake trails are marked. There was sun much of yesterday.  No reports of surface slush.  Eagle Lake a little chop but nothing bad.  Icy with blow off of snow in some sections.  Please slow down.
