SNOWMOBILE TRAILS IN EAGLE RIVER
Varying conditions – Good, Fair, Poor

Groomer Tracking Systems (GTS Trails) reports in the last 24 hours no grooming.  Grooming will resume when conditions permit.

Cloudy today with high of 30 & 12 tonight.  So it seems the warm up may have finally ended. 20’s & teens for high through the rest of week during the day.  Night time temps singles digits.  There is SNOW in the forecast Monday through Wednesday of next week. To far out to offer accurate totals so stay tuned.

Conditions are all over the place.  Trails have softened up pretty much everywhere.  Woods trails have SNOW cover & are pretty good.  Trails along north sides of roads have burn through. That evil sun does a job on them.  Roads may have ice but most are pretty bare.  In town crossings a wet & messy.  Cold temps are back starting tonight.  Cloudy to partly cloudy as well.  Will have photos tomorrow.

Catfish & Eagle Lake trails are marked.  Have not ridden across either but conditions on both lakes may produce surface slush with temps up & sun out.  Remember not all lakes are safe.  Look for markers and/or signing.  If you don’t see any the lake is not safe.

P.S. There is a 55mph nighttime speed limit.

THINK COLD!  KEEP DOIN’ THE SNOW DANCE!!!

See ya on the trails when it cools down!
