All in all trails are Great!

More SNOW in Vilas County.  Weather guys were wrong.  Eagle River got 5 inches of SNOW instead of the 1-3 forecast!  As for the rest of the coming week. SNOW this morning.  SNOW off & on all day tomorrow.  Plus SNOW off & on all week. Typical January temps.  Single digits & below zero at night. The COLD temps can make the top SNOW crusty with less lubrication.  The La Nina WINTER is going no where.  So it’s time to ride!

GTS Tracking shows nearly a full grooming session overnight into this morning.  Only trails NOT groomed are:

Trail 70W that connects with St. Germain BoBoen trails – as you ride the trail section behind Krist Oil please STOP at the STOP signs

Trail 13/17S that head down along Hwy 17S & connect with the Sugar Camp Survivor trails

            Trail 7 aka Paintball field

Couple of notices:

Trail 10W/13N aka the Wisconsin River section is now open.  Expect it to be rough because much of the trail flooded & is now hard frozen ice.  DO NOT leave the trail in that area as off trails could/are mushy & you will get stuff.  It was groomed last night.

Reminder that Trail 13S does not run all the way to Three Lakes as a portion was closed.  Club is working on a re route.

Eagle Lake was marked by businesses. Safety lights at entrance & exit from/to the lake trail have been installed.

Catfish Lake is NOT MARKED. Uncertain it will open as there are no businesses open on the lake this winter.

What a fantastic WINTER!  Get out & ride

Great job of thinkin’ cold.  Keep DANCIN’!

See ya on the trails after the World Championship Snowmobile Derby
