VILAS COUNTY SNOWMOBILE TRAILS OPEN
Trails are in on average Fair to Poor Early Riding Condition

Eagle River trails remain in Early Riding Condition with conditions at Fair to Poor. Hard frozen ground covered Trail 10E - 6 miles east of Eagle River northside of roadwith an ice base in most areas. Crusty frozen snow. Snirt. Choppy conditions. Seems the ROW trails have a bit more snow but everywhere there is plenty of snirt. Especially at road crossings. Photo of Trail 10E just taken yesterday is about 6 miles east on the northside of the road. Take 1/5/2021. There was a partial grooming overnight.

Temps have popped up to the high 20’s to low 30’s during the day.  Mid to high teens at night.  There is a potential for small amounts of SNOW.  Stay tuned for more updates.

Both lake trails, Catfish & Eagle are marked by businesses on the lake. This includes the spur to Eagle Waters. Stay by the markers to be safe.

Thanks to the all clubs for all their hard work.

Need cold weather & SNOW.  KEEP THINKING COLD & DOIN’ THE SNOW DANCE!
