March 1st & still riding! Conditions are all over the place as we head to toward the end of the season! First, SLOW DOWN & STAY ON YOUR SIDE. It is slippery out there. Again, woods riding, south & east side of road trails have the most SNOW. Loose SNOW is getting to be a premium Found it in the woods. Corners are icy & some are birmmed. Wide open areas are grim.
High today only 21. Tomorrow 38 during the day & down to 3. Then heading into 40’s during the day & 20’s at night. TIME TO RIDE TODAY!!! No SNOW until maybe end of week.

Groomers out in full force last night. Only trails not groomed were 70W/17S/7 & Trail 10E. Both are very icy as they have large sections that run along roads. Southside section on 10E & then into the woods are covered by are hard SNOW & icy. Northside of the one way into town has bare spots. If you ride on 10E go East & pick up Phelps or Three Lakes trails OR head into the UP. 70W is on the northside of Hwy 70W & hard ice in open area. Haven’t ridden 17S, but it is on the east side & may be ok. When you hit Sugar Camp trails it is woods riding for the most part. 7 aka Paintball Field should be ok as it is also a lot of woods riding. No report on conditions when you connect with Sugar Camp along Hwy H.
Reminder that Trail 13S does not run all the way to Three Lakes as a portion was closed. The Club is working on a reroute. Use Trail 10E or Trail 17S to get to Three Lakes.
Time to ride! See ya on the trails!
