EAGLE RIVER TRAILS
Open – Very Good to Fair
Should be Excellent of the SNOW

Trails re-opened at 8am yesterday, Saturday!   Trail were on average GOOD.  Heading west on the one-way Trail 10 to Eagle River plenty of SNOW. Couple of road crossing snirty.  Bridge crossing heading west was bare.  Taylor Lake Rd part of the trail by the Dome Hockey Arena had ice/snow to ride on, on the edges. Pine Ln had bare spots & was mostly ice all the way to Bloom Rd.  From there 10 was SNOW covered all the way to Loon Lake Rd & the Grade to town.  Grade was smooth & EXCELLENT. Through town the Snow Bridge was great.  Ragged crossing of Hwy 45 by the bridge. 10/W/13N through rest of town had snirty/wet road crossings. Traveling west on Trail 70/17/7 was SNOW covered all the way.  Bit of snirty on road crossings & up on high hill.

Right now it is SNOWING.  Has been since early AM with 2/10’s an hour ’til 7:45 when it increased to 1/2 inch & keep rising ’til to over an inch an hour til 2pm today. Then back to 2/10’s an hour until 3am tomorrow when it moves up to 1/2 to 3/4 inch an hour.  Looks to be stopping Monday around 2pm. So on target for 15 plus SNOW.
