❄️❄️Hurley Area Snow Report Wednesday 22, 2020

The White Thunder Riders groomed all North Iron County Trails yesterday and today and rate everything as EXCELLENT.   The area received approximately 14 – 18” of snow over the weekend and temperatures have been in the low 20s for highs.  The weather has allowed the trails to set up nicely, as we go into the weekend a chance of snow is in the forecast and temperatures in the low 30s.  This will cause the trails to soften up —- watch the corners and be aware of oncoming snowmobiles and groomers.  We continue to hear good things about Mercer, Manitowish Waters, Vilas County and our neighbors to the east.

Trail 15 to 15A is now open with NO REROUTE.

Trail 6 in the Whitecap Mountains Resort area has an active logging operation.  Use CAUTION.  (Between E and E)

Trail 160 in Michigan is OPEN with a reroute.

We would like to remind everyone to STAY on the TRAIL.  Stay OFF the lakes and flowages.  RESPECT our landowners.  If you come upon a groomer WAIT for the groomer driver to come to a complete stop and signal for you to continue.

Show your appreciation by attending club events, not just ours but neighboring clubs as well.  Remember “United we Trail, Divided we Fail”
