Area Report:

Temps are a little better today, a little!  But at least the snow isn’t blowing sideways along with below zero temps!!  Looks like temps will stay in the single digits thru the week then reach up to 20 for the weekend, yay!  Getting 5-7 inches of snow over the next day or so, then a bit of snow everyday.    Winter is definitely here to stay.  Trails are open and being groomed daily.  Trail 124 that runs from Trail 3 into Gay, and Trail 133 that runs from Lac LaBelle to Gay, are closed due to logging.  Please use Trail 122 from Lake Linden to get to Gay.

Please, please, please when out on the trails, use some common sense.  Keep your speed under control.  There are others out there on the trail.  You need to be able to control your snowmobile and stay on your side of the trail.  Last week, one of my renters was run off the trail when a crazy rider came around the corner on the wrong side of the trail going 100 mph.  And, of course, they did not stop.  The sled was wrecked and the rider was lucky to get away with some bad bumps and bruises.

When riding, respect others on the trail and respect private property.  Don’t be the moron that ruins it for everyone else.

Stay off the ice!!! No ice in the area is safe right now–especially the canal!!

Save the drinking for after the riding.  Stay safe!!

See you all on the trails!
