Trail Conditions: Excellent
Snow Cover: 40-50"
Date of Report: January 8, 2017
Area Report:

Snow, Snow, Snow!  Yes, we have tons of snow!  And it won’t stop snowing!  Temps have been in the single digits with wind chills below zero every day and the lake effect will not let up!  All trails are open and being groomed, except for trail 122 from Lake Linden to Gay.  To get into Gay, you must use Trail 124.  Trail 133 from Gay to Lac LaBelle was a little rough last wee, but may be better now with this snow. Have not heard a recent report on it.  You can still access Dreamland Trail from Lake Linden, but that is as far as you can go.  This week hasn’t been as busy as the last couple, but never fear, starting next weekend it will be back to busy, busy.  Temps will go up next week too, which will help pank (pack) down some of these many fluffy feet of snow that we have received over the last couple days.  If you can come up riding during the week, I would definitely suggest you do that.  Our snow will not be going anywhere soon, so make plans for a great trip up to ride this awesome trail system.

Please always remember to stay on the marked, groomed trail, stay off private property, stay off all water, slow down and enjoy the view, and save the drinking for after the riding!!  Everyone be safe out there!
