Report from Presque Isle-Winchester Sno-Bunnies

Hello Sledders!!!!…..3-4 inches of “NEW SNOW” since Tuesday and some nice lake effect today to boot…along with two nights of 0 degree temps at night and another one this evening !!!!…. Last weekend, we got almost a foot as well…..

The low Lying areas have frozen up again…..Trails are rated “Good” as of today!!!!….We are grooming again tonight and tomorrow night…. We will monitor the low temps to see what we can do….. I would suggest to “Stop” if you encounter a “Wet” area and look to see the depth (Water is Clear)….If not too deep… stay on the Trail….Going off the trail is a bigger problem…If our groomers can cross the wet area……. your snowmobile will easily go through….or cut out on to the road to get around the “Wet Area”……. Temps look great today and tomorrow (Friday) and then start warm on Saturday (mid-30’s) and especially on Sunday with high around 50 degrees…..This Weekend might be your last chance to ride!!!….Come on up for some Late season riding!!!!

A Big “THANK YOU” to all who purchased “Tickets” to our Presque Isle/Winchester “Sno-Bunnies Raffle”….Congrats to the “Winners” and a fun day was had by all!!!!……The proceeds will be very helpful in the “Maintenance” of our trail system for the upcoming year…..
