The cold night time temperatures have allowed the hard work of the groomers to make the trail base solid. The trails held up, surprisingly well through the weekend. Again, a testament to the hard base. There are a few icy corners to be aware of.
All in all I would rate them at VERY GOOD. The only reasons they are being marked at excellent are the few areas of icy corners and the warm temperatures being forecasted for the middle of the week.
It doesn’t get much better than this, get out and ride.
Keep an eye out for fellow riders and the groomers, there have been some near misses this season.
