Official Report from Washburn County Forestry: Most Washburn County Snowmobile trails are open at this time, EXCEPT trails located East of Hwy 53 and South of Hwy 70 are closed. All other Washburn County Snowmobile Trails are open at this time. Trail conditions are considered fair to poor, with a 1 to 4 inch ice and snow base. Please be aware that trail conditions do vary throughout the county and riders may encounter ice and/or rough trails. Some trail segments may be ungroomed but clubs are out working to get everything groomed and ready for riding.

Report from Rolling Hills ATV & Snowmobile Club: After getting out and grooming the new snow that Washburn County received most trails have 2 to 3 inches of packed snow on top of the ice that is on the trails. Trails are in good riding conditions, and corners are not breaking loose as they were before the recent snow.
