Snowtracks was born online during the summer of 1996, as the pioneer web site for communities, snowmobile clubs and tourism associations to promote snowmobiling for their respective area’s by using the internet as the "new marketing tool at that time" by posting snowmobile trail condition reports and snowmobile related events.

Over the years Snowtracks has been responsible for introducing thousands of snowmobile enthusiasts as well as increasing winter tourism to snowmobiling premier destinations though out North America.
