Snowmobile Trail report for January 30, 2019 – Trails are good. The snow we received on Monday was a dusting and did not amount to much. The groomers Monday night and Tuesday morning did lay out a very nice trail. The corners and other areas remain icy so use caution. With the bitter cold (-23 below zero and wind chills of -44 below zero) and very low traffic we are not grooming Wednesday night/Thursday morning for safety of our drivers and equipment. It is expected to get even colder tonight. This can lead to mechanical breakdowns and bad things can happen. Being on a snowmobile at those temps can also dramatically increase the wind chills and mechanical breakdowns. PLEASE USE EXTREME CAUTION. If you do go out riding please do not ride alone! Remember to be safe, ride right, and enjoy the ride.
