SNO-EAGLES
EAGLE RIVER TRAILS
OPEN – EARLY SEASON RIDING

Did you ride yesterday?  Chilly one. High of 6. No wind gusts.   Overall found the trails in GOOD Early Riding.   Not a lot of traffic.   Most of the in the woods trails have branches down.  Didn’t find any trees. Wide open trails like on Trail 10 north & west of town there was drifting from the wind.  Some of the driveway crossings were plowed shut so watch for that. Trail 3 aka Manske Swamp  & Trail 17S heading to the Sugar Camp trails connect still have a mushy spots.  All in all a good ride.

As for weather. This Wednesday the temps are going to pop up to the 30’s during the day & low 20’s at night.  Weather guys are forecasting mostly cloudy.  There is SNOW & sleet forecast.  This will last through the New Year.  Stay tuned.

Grooming in full force.  Here is what was groomed Christmas night:

Trail 10W/13N to the Conover connect
Trail 10W aka Wisconsin River Trail
Trail 7 to Sayner/St. Germain connect
Club Trail 10 aka Uncle Kent Trail heading south to Hwy G
Trail 13/7/17 that begins behind the Dairy Queen in town completely groomed.
(13 connects to St. Germain, 7 aka Paintball field connects with Sugar Camp, 17 connects to Sugar Camp running along side of Hwy 17S)
Alt Trail 13S to the Three Lakes connect

As to the 2 lake trails in Sno-Eagles/Eagle River trail, Catfish & Eagle.  Neither are marked so not safe.   Daily checking of ice depth.  Should be marked this week.  Watch for updates.

Two last reminders. Please no off trail riding.  Also as you ride you might meet a groomer.   They are big & can’t pull over for us.  So pull over & let the driver direct you.  And oh ya give ’em a thumbs up.  They groom so we can ride!!!

Keep DOIN’ THE SNOW DANCE!!

See ya on the trails again real soon!
