Snow Cover: Hard base in most areas - Snow cover
Date of Report: January 7, 2017
Sno-Eagles Trails Open
Fair to Good Early Riding Condition
COLD again morning in Eagle River! 15 below at 6am. Single digit highs & below zero at night until Sunday. Swamps should be pretty frozen up.
Catfish Lake Loop & Eagle Trail are OPEN & safe by the orange reflective barrels.
Groomers out again last night. Do not have a schedule of what was groomed.
Appears Manske Swamp area of Trail 3 was groomed. WI River Bridge area of Trail 10W/13N not groomed. Still concern that the grooming equipment is to heavy to travel through until more freezing of those areas goes on.
Most trails are SNOw covered but with ice underneath. So think about that as you ride. Straight aways & corners.
