Snowmobile Information:

Machelle reported in from last nights groomer run that all of the Northern Hornshoe trails have roughly a 6″ compacted base, other than the north end of 17 on the open tundra in the marsh.  No trees, no snow, so go slow. Corners are flat, and the green flag is up. We get a lot of compliments on our trail conditions, and I always make it a point to thank all of the volunteers that work very hard to make our sport what it is. If you do not belong to a club, consider joining one, or two. If you can’t actively help, at least actively support with a membership, or donation. Clubs need help all the way from bookwork, to trail work, to grooming and maintenance of equipment. Many local businesses support clubs with map ads, and support through donations. When you stop at a business for a break, odds are good a lot of work made it possible to get there. But, enough said, the trails are ready, time to ride – Be safe and have fun! Mark
